Down's Syndrome is a genetic disorder caused by the presence of all or part of a third copy of chromosome 21. It can cause learning disabilities, mental retardation, etc.This causes from the British doctor named John Langdon Down. Down's syndrome was first described in the late 19th century pathology.
History
In 1866, Dr. John Langdon Down first described the diseases Down's Syndrome. It was called "Mongolia Syndrome", because people with Down's Syndrome have a wilder face and smaller higher eyes, just like Mongolians. This name is not appropriate now a days, so people do not use this name anymore.
Sufferer
People who have Down's Syndrome, are more likely to have heart disease, leukemia, cataracts and eyes problem... All the Down's Syndrome sufferer have a shorter neck, eyelid, shorter height, lower eyes and nose, only one joint in the last finger and a bigger distance between the first thumb and the second.
People with Down's Syndrome cannot last long.
